Balanced and uplifting aromas of tulsi and roasted dandelion, that has a mild spiciness and a delightful lingering sweetness.
Use 1 to 2 teaspoon(s) of tea per cup. Add filtered water at 90ºC to 95ºC, and allow to steep for 2 to 3 minutes. Strain the tea and serve.
Tulsi – According to Ayurveda, Tulsi is regarded as an adaptogenic (anti-stress) herb that promotes purity and lightness in the body, and is able to restore balance and harmony. Tulsi improves digestion, metabolism and aids liver function. It is rich in (antiseptic) essential oils, which promote dental and oral health, and can act as a mouth freshener.
Puerh – Puerh is a type of fermented tea produced in Yunnan province, China. It has traditionally been used to aid digestion, especially after a heavy meal. This is due to the presence of micro-organisms in Puerh which may increase the healthy bacterial flora in the stomach and intestines.
Dandelion Root – has traditionally been used to promote digestion, stimulate appetite, and balance the natural and beneficial bacteria in the intestines.
Masala Spices and Ginger Root are beneficial ingredients in our Cha Tulsi as they may aid to cleanse the body, and help with digestive processes. And let’s not forget that these spices add a great deal of flavor and sweetness to the cup.
