Taiwan produces some of the best Oolong teas in the world, and has a long history of tea production. Dong Ding is one of Taiwan’s signature teas. It is grown in the heart of the beautiful and very popular tea producing region in Taiwan, Nantou County. Weather conditions are quite harsh in the area, causing the tea leaves to accumulate a lot of nutrients. The result is a naturally strong and lush flavor, enriched with a mouth-coating sweetness.
Use 1 to 2 teaspoon(s) of tea per cup. Add filtered water at 85ºC to 95ºC, and allow to steep for 2 to 3 minutes. Strain the tea and serve. Dong Ding can be re-brewed multiple times.
